Performance AnxietyPerformance anxiety is when a vicious cycle is established, whereby anxiety about a repeated episode of sexual performance failure is experienced whenever a man commences or even thinks about sexual activity. It occurs when an occasional episode of inadequate sexual performance becomes an expected outcome of each subsequent sexual event. The more anxious he is, the worse his performance becomes.
